The Narrative

Redefining Youth Leadership

Ronny Ochoro is redefining what youth-led leadership looks like across the African continent.

Born and raised in the rural village of Kabonyo No 5 in Muhoroni Sub-County, Kenya, he turned a grassroots passion into a global platform. Today, he serves as the President of the All Africa Flying Disc Federation (AAFDF) and a Board Director at the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF), standing as a living testament to the power of youth-driven change.

From Kabonyo to the Global Stage

The journey from Muhoroni to international sports boardrooms was paved with a relentless commitment to community and growth. Ronny's leadership footprint began expanding during his undergraduate years at Maseno University, where he founded the university's first Frisbee club.

Driven by a belief that athletic talent requires robust structural support, he stepped into key administrative roles, serving as the Financial Secretary for the championship-winning Cool Water Frisbee Club and later as the Secretary General of the Nairobi Ultimate Disc League (NUDL).

Pioneering Continental Governance

As the youngest-ever President of the AAFDF, Ronny has shattered glass ceilings to ensure African youth have a powerful voice at the global decision-making table. Through his dual roles with the AAFDF and WFDF, he champions inclusive growth, strategic policy development, and structural gender equity.

His leadership ensures that African athletes are fully recognized, structurally supported, and represented on the world stage with clarity, dignity, and long-term vision.

Bridging Sports, Education, and Commerce

Leadership that moves from policy rooms into classrooms, partnerships, and community systems.

In Education

As an Administration Board Member for the Kenya University Sports Federation (KUSF) and the Ultimate Coach at the International School of Kenya (ISK), he directly mentors tomorrow's athletic leaders.

In Commerce

As the Head of Partnerships for Fancy Sports Apparels, he helps ensure African national teams are equipped with high-quality, locally designed sportswear for international competition.

In Community

Through The Ochoro Foundation, he spearheads values-based training networks that empower emerging changemakers across the continent.
