Program Pillar 01

Sports for Development
& Governance

Building the Architects of African Sports Excellence

Transforming passion into professional governance — equipping the next generation of African sports leaders with the tools to build self-sustaining, world-class athletic ecosystems.

The Challenge

Africa possesses an unyielding fountain of athletic talent, yet a persistent structural bottleneck exists: the deficit of trained, ethical, and modern sports administrators.

The Sports for Development & Governance program, a flagship initiative of the Ronny Ochoro Foundation, directly addresses this institutional gap. Inspired by our founder's historic trajectory as the youngest-ever President of the All Africa Flying Disc Federation (AAFDF) and Board Director at the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF), this program transforms passion into professional governance.

We equip sports leaders with the strategic management, compliance, and policy-making skills required to build self-sustaining, world-class athletic ecosystems across the continent.
